What do you get when you combine creative WVU students, area professionals and three local nonprofits for 24 hours?
CreateAthon@WVU. The event that puts students and professionals to the challenge of creating pro bono marketing materials for three local nonprofits. Three teams of students with the assistance of a professional mentor will compete to create the best possible material for the deserving organizations.

The Shack Neighborhood House - Located in the historic Scott's Run community just outside of Morgantown, WV, the organization prides itself on being responsive to the needs of the community by providing an inclusive, safe and fun environment for learning and recreation.
Preston County Workshop - Since 1997, its mission has been to support any individuals in the Preston County area with or without a disability in securing gainful employment opportunities tailored to fit their distinctive interests, skills and goals.
Scott's Run Settlement House - Located in Osage, WV, Scott's Run Settlement House is a place to turn for Christian care of individual, family and community needs especially those marginalized by economic and social decline.

CreateAthon@WVU provides students with the chance to work with real clients and complete real work to be used by the nonprofit organizations, while offering professionals an arena to share their knowledge with students and give back to the community.
